Elephant Protocol transforms how the world records, verifies, and transacts with property data. The Mahout Token is coming soon — join the movement.

Consumers spend $235 billion annually on real estate transaction fees—lighting 16% of their home's value on fire simply to flip a bit in county records and get a government-guaranteed loan. We founded Staircase believing this was fertile ground for automation.
We started by solving hard technical problems: APIs translating regulations into code, data normalization making fragmented systems interoperable, AI eliminating human bottlenecks. When adoption was slow, we became a licensed mortgage brokerage offering rates more than 1.00% below market. When agents steered clients towards more expensive options to protect insider relationships, we became agents ourselves with a flat-fee model.
Our Florida operations proved end-to-end automation works: mortgage rates more than 1.00% below market, 15-day property sales, and AI-driven transaction management with minimal supervision.
Then came the real education: the MLS dragged us before an "ethics panel" without concrete charges because our no-commission model threatened their business—old-fashioned mob tactics. We finally acknowledged the fundamental truth: no one wanted to eliminate friction because friction itself is the product. There would be no reforming from inside.
This led us to launch Elephant—a protocol solution to a protocol problem. Our experience showed what was needed: not better applications on broken protocols, but new protocols engineered to cost less.
Now we're Elephant's largest oracle miner, bringing hard-earned expertise to verify property data with unprecedented accuracy. When we submit cryptographic proofs, we're anchoring truth that transforms real estate from extractive cartel into open infrastructure.
Where today's protocols burn $67,155 per transaction on repeated verification, Elephant creates permanent memory, eliminating this waste forever. At Staircase, we are hard to kill—just like the Elephant protocol we built.
